We are celebrating our 10th anniversary! : Final chapter 🎉🍇🤳
You are now entering the final chapter of this series of episodes celebrating MobileThinking's 10 years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for accompanying us throughout this year's adventure!
To fully enjoy this last journey through time, make yourself comfortable, relax, and let us guide you.
Today, there will be no great leap through time: we’re focusing on 2024! Let’s explore together the highlights and surprises of this year rich in emotions, which continues to unfold.
What’s beautiful under the sun?
The crew at MobileThinking is stepping up a gear!
After a successful internship, Safia has joined the team as a collaborator, bringing the total number of members to 10.
On an equally positive note, most of the team members are now working part-time, allowing for more family time and greater enjoyment of what life has to offer 🌠
And the good news doesn’t stop there: Safia obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Web Development and Applications with the highest marks in her class, and Roseline has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing and Communication. Congratulations to them on these outstanding achievements! 👩🎓👩🎓🏅
Who will have the best filter? 😎
A new tradition has emerged at MobileThinking!
Morning video calls have become a well-established habit, but recently, Friday morning meetings have taken an… unexpected turn.
They are turning into a filter festival, and here, there’s no skimping on resources. The stranger and more ridiculous the filter, the better!
And just for you, here are a few exclusive examples:
The Projects That Marked 2024
Ultimo
Meeting in Oslo
Every six months, as part of the ULTIMO project, the 23 partners gather to take stock and plan the next steps. In April 2024, this meeting was held in Oslo, bringing together over 40 participants for a packed agenda, which included the preparation for the mid-term review - a crucial stage validating the project's progression with the European Commission.
During this stay, organised by Ruter, team-building activities and discoveries of autonomous vehicles and their depots enhanced collaboration. This meeting facilitated fruitful exchanges with technology partners, laying solid foundations for the future of the project. ULTIMO is progressing well, and the team remains fully committed to achieving the set objectives.
General Assembly in Geneva
This year, the general assembly of Ultimo took place at the University of Geneva, an ideal setting for bringing all project partners together.
The key moment of this assembly? A demonstration showing how five technology partners, each operating in different fields, can join forces to create innovative solutions, such as our Pulse Dashboard. This tool enables public transport operators to keep a real-time eye on autonomous vehicles, boosting both their efficiency and safety.
The day was marked by constructive exchanges and discussions about the future of the project, with clear ideas for what comes next, even after ULTIMO.
And to finish on a high note, everyone gathered for a lovely dinner to strengthen ties in a relaxed atmosphere. A wonderful milestone that provides even more energy for what lies ahead!

Le 28
The association Le 28, based in Geneva, aims to inform and guide individuals regarding careers in the health and social sectors.
It plans to create a modern platform that offers detailed job descriptions, interactive onboarding, and tailored tools to attract talent and address the staffing shortage in these areas.
MobileThinking is tasked with designing and developing the site, transforming an existing artistic direction into a younger, more modern interface while ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience.
LAPaL - V2
The LAPaL project by Medicines Patent Pool aims to make information on long-acting medical technologies and their applications accessible.
Since 2021, MobileThinking has been enriching the site with key tools, such as pharmaceutical compound management and interactive features to facilitate data access.
This year, numerous innovations have emerged: an interactive comparator to analyse the characteristics of technologies and compounds, advanced visualisations like graphs for clinical trials, and an interactive map for the registration status of medicines, as well as import/export tools to efficiently manage large volumes of data.
Each new feature has been designed to make the user experience even smoother and more intuitive, while addressing the specific needs of this complex and exciting field.
Moser School - Digital Records
A new year and new features for the extranet of Moser School, which now includes a mobile tool for Cycle 1 teachers. Thanks to this application, they can create “Digital Records” (in the form of text, audio, video, or photos) related to students and school outings organised by the school. These records can then be exported as PDFs and shared with parents.
Johdi Suite - New Project Underway
The HR ecosystem of the Johdi Suite will soon be bolstered by a new tool facilitating the onboarding of new employees! The design phase is complete, and the developers have just begun. We can't wait to share more with you!
An intensive teambuilding session 💪
Let us now talk about a tradition that endures at MobileThinking: the teambuilding day!
This year, the team divided into two camps for a memorable showdown at the Cube Challenge Geneva. On one side were the “DevStorm” and on the other, the “SwissCommando”. The two teams engaged in a series of challenges and missions combining physical activity and mental agility, which included climbing, a ball pit, riddles to solve, and even penalty shooting.
At the end of this closely contested competition, the SwissCommando claimed victory with a mere 100 points lead (out of over 3,000 points)! Well done to them!
And what better way to gather together after such a fierce battle than over a few drinks by the lake to wrap up this lovely day on a sunny note ✨

The crew improvises as a photo model
You now know all about that afternoon of teambuilding. But what could the MobileThinking crew have been up to in the morning?
A photo shoot!
The office was transformed into an improvised studio, with flashes going off continuously (a real round trip from Geneva to Lausanne) 📸 to showcase the team members and capture beautiful photos to share on our website and social media.

10 years, let's celebrate! 🎉🚀
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of MobileThinking, your favourite team has embarked on an extraordinary day. You can be sure that we couldn't let such a celebration pass by unnoticed!
On the agenda: Cooking and Curling
First stop: a visit to Katrépices for a team cooking class to prepare a three-course menu: starter, main course, and dessert 🍽️
The team demonstrated great cohesion and fully invested themselves in preparing this delicious meal, which was then enjoyed (or rather devoured) in a convivial atmosphere, all accompanied by a bit (a lot) of good wine.
Hardly had the meal finished when the team set off for the second part of the day: a rendezvous at the Sous-Moulin Sports Centre for a curling session 🤝
With the help of an enthusiastic coach, everyone quickly found their footing and played a few rounds. And good news: not a single fall to report, despite the several glasses of wine still in our systems!
And as all good things come to an end, the day concluded over a drink, and everyone departed with new memories to share ✨
Happy Birthday MobileThinking! 🎉
This marks the end of this fabulous journey into the past, which has allowed us to relive together the best moments of the last 10 years with your favourite crew.
So thank you for these exceptional 10 years, and we raise our glasses to the next 10 🥂
The crew is now setting course for the future, stay tuned! 🚀
